Intralox, a division of Laitram LLC, is seeking an HR Generalist to join its team in our Hanover, MD office. The qualified individual will work closely with other members of the HR team supporting the overall mission and growth of the company. This position will help shape behaviors, skills, and success by driving the understanding and execution of our continuous improvement philosophies (business philosophies) along with defining a coordinated people strategy for the division. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, have superior organization, interpersonal and communication skills, be self-managed, and act with the highest level of integrity and confidentiality. The position reports to the Human Resources Manager in Hanover, MD.

 Responsibilities:

  • Provide day to day HR support to managers and employees based in the Intralox’s Maryland locations in Hanover, Elkridge and a future site in the Baltimore area.

o    Work with managers and supervisors to help support direct reports with performance management, ongoing coaching, and development.

o    Be a reliable “trust partner” for employees for coaching and support, partner with employees and the Employee Development Specialist on development plans and performance improvement plans to support our continuous improvement mindset.

o    Serve as an HR liaison for questions and support related to benefits, recruiting, payroll and employee relations.

  • Other Specific HR responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • HR Data and Analytics
    • Change Management of key organizational initiatives
    • Assists with local company activities, events and initiatives
    • Conduct and track results of exit interviews.
    • Special Projects

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner or equivalent role
  • Extensive experience in handling employee relations and resolutions
  • Strong communication, planning and organizational skills and habits.
  • Inspires trust and relates well to people of varying roles and levels.
  • Excellent at organization and self-management.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Independent judgement
  • Confident, resilient and takes initiative.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality
  • Solid computer skills, with a strong knowledge of the MS Office environment including Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Experience with HRIS/ERP systems, preferably Oracle, Kronos and ADP
  • Works well in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Some limited travel is expected for this position.
  • This position will be required to report into the office
