Direct, work with, and instruct an assigned group of employees in the performance of their duties. Communicate any issues with all shifts. Responsible for the manufacturing of box making machinery and must be able to perform all of the duties of Technician III, Electrical as required. Technician work involves performing the installation of electrical, electronic and numerical controls on company product that includes computerized machines. Installation and test of logic panels, electrical control panels, servo motors, circuit boards, mini-computers, numerical controls and related electrical/electronic units or subassemblies. Must possess an understanding of mechanical functions including motor drives, bearings, couplings, rolls and gears. Apply principles and theories of advanced electronics, electrical circuitry and basic mechanical functions.
Position Description:
Subject matter expert in the field of test engineering, analysis of test data, and usage of both software and hardware tools used to obtain, analyze, and distill test data into understandable and actionable results. Responsible for developing test systems from the ground up, with design integrity, such that the data obtained and any analysis made from it contain inherent validity and substance purposeful to its objective.

Ensures testing procedures meet industry standards. Ensures accurate record of measurement data. Performs work under minimal supervision. Work Environment:
The Test Engineer works in both office and manufacturing environments. This role also travels regularly.
Physical Demands:
The employee may be required to stand, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and greater than 50 pounds with assistance. Normal mental and visual attention is necessary to perform various duties of the role.
Travel:
This role requires regular travel. Travel is anticipated, but not limited to, approximately 25% of the time.

Position Type:
This is a regular, full-time position with the understanding that a regular workweek will require extended days and hours as needed to meet business needs.
Required Education and Experience:
B.S. degree in engineering; master’s degree in engineering preferred. Typically has 4-6 years’ related experience or training in test engineering.
